Christ in Me
Galatians 2:20 ESV
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
I have found my purpose for today and every day, for Jesus Christ to live in me. That takes off all the pressure. I do not have to perform my duties today in my own strength, with my own influence, in my own power, I will let Jesus do that through me. He will do a much better job than I will because His agenda will always be for the good of the Father and for my good as well.
My old life is dead and gone and nailed to the cross of Calvary. I will not try to be something that I am not today, nor will I try to live up to everyone else’s expectations. I will let Jesus live in me and through me, despite what people may think or believe.
The life that I live on my own is past. The life that I live for Jesus is not just for today or tomorrow, but forever more. If the dead old man tries to rise up, I will have to tell him that he is no longer welcome.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, live in me and through me today. Let Your words be my words, Your thoughts my thoughts, my actions be Your actions through me. In Your name Lord Jesus, Amen!
