He is Faithful to Carry UsThrough

Philippians 1:6 NLT
“And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”

While salvation from sin happens at the moment we accept Christ as Savior of our lives, the process of becoming more like Christ is exactly that: a process.

God is faithful, He will always support us, strengthen us encourages us as long as we lean on Him. Don’t be fooled, even when we are not walking faithfully with the Lord, He is still there moving mountains, obstacles and desperately pulling us back to Him.

But walking with the Lord is the only way. His presence is crucial to our walk and existence. His presence is imperative to us being who we were designed to be.

This morning, whatever our endeavor is today, He who began a good work in us to make us complete, He will bring us to that point of completion in Christ. He is working in us, we have to work in Him.

The things that we have found in this life to do, if we believe that they have been given to us by God to accomplish, He will bring that work to completion.

Whether careers, relationships, ministries or works that we do, if God initiated these works, He is bringing these things to completion in us for His glory, and His glory is our glory.

Prayer:
Lord, You have started great works in us, help us to keep going, keep moving, keep seeking, keep praying, keep desiring more of You. In this we know, You began the good work, You will bring these works of ours to completion. In Your righteous name Lord Jesus, Amen!
