Believing is Seeing

Romans 1:19-20 ESV
“For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they (people without God in their life) are without excuse.”

Understand, God’s invisible attributes; His eternal power that never fades or grows tired. His divine nature, the purity, the majesty and the greatness of our God can all be seen by just believing, and if someone does not believe, they need to look at what it would take to fashion the galaxies and the solar system in perfect fashion as it is.

Everything that we can see, nature- (trees, plants, animals), the birth of a baby, the sunrise or sunset, the seasons, the beautiful colors of the fall leaves, the stars and the planets, these are all gifts of God to show His amazing power and glory.

David says in Psalms 19:1 “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.”

So, anyone who does not believe in God is lying to themselves, tricking their own minds to believe all that we see came about by some accident. How preposterous! Unless they turn and believe, one day they will stand before a Holy God, without excuse, and have to confess openly that He is all that we have come to know that He is.

Believing in God, trusting in Jesus as our Savior, relying on the Holy Spirit to direct our lives is how we make through this life of doubt, questions and confusion. There is no other way!

Prayer:
Father, I pray for those who are spiritually blind, groping around in the darkness of this world. Open their eyes Lord, let them see Your beauty, Your majesty, and Your glory, as it can plainly be seen. In Your Holy name, Amen!
