What Righteous Living Brings

Psalms 37:30-31 ESV
“The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom, and his tongue speaks justice. The law of his God is in his heart; his steps do not slip.”

Those who closely follow God, trusting in His words, keeping His statues, loving Him with all of their hearts, souls and minds, speak wisdom. Have you ever sat down with a dear saint of God. One that you know has been living in the presence of God most of their lives, and listened to them talk about the Lord and what He has done?

You walk away knowing things that you did not know or learning things that you can live by. Those sweet words of wisdom you can almost take to the bank. If you will listen and heed their words and apply them to your life, you will find the peace that they have found

When you walk away from someone like that, you know that God’s words are written on their hearts, and what is in their hearts is coming out of their mouth, and the words that are coming out, is the wisdom from God.

Those with that kind of relationship with God know that they stand on the Rock of our salvation. (Psalms 40:2) You know that if they ever did trip and fall that God would uphold them with His hand. (Psalms 145:14)

Prayer:
Father, it is good to know that You guide our words and testimonies, that when we proclaim You, the hearers will attain wisdom. Father, it is good to know that You have Your eyes so close on us, even when we do slip You catch us from falling. Thank You Mighty God, Amen!
