Living in God’s Favor

Psalms 37:3-5 NKJV
“Trust in the Lord, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.”

There is no Utopia…yet! As long as we live in a fallen world, it cannot be perfect, because sin abounds. Picture yourself in God’s perfection. A perfect world where there is no sin, no evil, no bad people.

Well, I believe we are going to have that one day soon. When King Jesus comes to live with us again, it will be a perfect world. For now, we are citizens of a higher Kingdom, the Kingdom of God, where Jesus is King and we live in the favor of God.

There are just a few requirements to abide in this kind of Kingdom of peace:

1) Trust in the Lord. (It’s easier than most people believe).
2) Do good. (In all situations).
3) Feed on God’s faithfulness. (This is rewarding).
4) Delight yourself in the Lord. (Love spending time with God).
5) Commit all Your ways to the Lord. (This will make all our paths straight, bring down the mountains and raise up the valleys of our life). Then we reap the benefits of being in close relationship with the Father.

Prayer:
Teach us Lord to depend on You more. The only way we can trust You more is to start trusting You everyday with all of our lives and our responsibilities. We need You Lord, Amen!
