Miracles Still Happen Everyday

2Kings 4:3-4 AMP
“Then he said, ‘Go, borrow containers from all your neighbors, empty containers—and not just a few.  Then you shall go in and shut the door behind you and your sons, and pour out [the oil you have] into all these containers, and you shall set aside each one when it is full.”’

I can just see the thoughts in this lady’s mind, “this sounds both embarrassing and ridiculous. My neighbors know that I don’t have anything to fill these containers with, they’re going to make fun of me. This man is telling me to pour a small amount of oil in a big container, how crazy is that.” But her obedience outweighed the doubts. She did as Elisha asked.

How many times have we talked ourselves out of a miracle because it involved doing something hard. How many times have we listened to the voices in our head and stopped before the blessing would have come, because we saw difficulty in the blessing. I dare to think hundreds if not thousands of times.

Don’t let doubt stop you from your miracle. Don’t let reasoning keep you from the blessings God intended for you. When God Speaks, right down in your spirit, and tells you “A miracle is coming, I’m about to do something in your life, this is what I want you to do to prepare for it,” don’t try to reason with it, go with it!

Prayer:
Lord, I believe I have missed out on too many miracles and blessings because I listened to people, I listened to my own mind, and I reasoned away my miracle because it evolved a hard process. Teach me Lord to trust in You more, Amen!
