God and All His Glory
Psalms 50:1-2 NLT
“The Lord, the Mighty One, is God, and He has spoken; He has summoned all humanity from where the sun rises to where it sets. From Mount Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines in glorious radiance.”
I think the obvious response to the Psalmists description of God would be, “God You are Righteous and Holy, there is no one like You!” As for God’s creation, we just took a vacation in the mountains, we were not in the peak of the fall colors, but we saw the residual glory of God’s creation. It was magnificent!
I know that the people that live in the mountains, get to see this beauty year in and year out in the fall and spring. They may take it for granted, but they have to be amazed at the beauty.
In Florida, I see each morning the beauty of God’s creation, and I glorify God. I see the simple sunsets, that are anything but simple here in Florida, and I’m in awe of God’s handiwork.
Try to take the time to enjoy God. Try to take the time to enjoy God’s marvelous handiwork. As a matter of fact, we are God’s handiwork as well. We are a reflection of His glory in this dark world.
Think about that, we are a residual of God’s glory in this dark world. God let our light shine!
Prayer:
Lord, when we were in the mountains, the leaves were falling fast and the color was fading, and I know that was making way for the new fresh glory of spring, but Your glory in us never ever fades! Let me be a reflection of Your glory! Thank You Lord Jesus, Amen!
