Everything That We Need!

2 Peter 1:3-4 AMP
“For His divine power has bestowed on us [absolutely] everything necessary for [a dynamic spiritual] life and godliness,  through  true and  personal knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence.

For by these He has bestowed on us His precious and magnificent promises [of inexpressible value], so that by them you may escape from the immoral freedom that is in the world because of disreputable desire, and become sharers of the divine nature.” 

You and I are fully equipped, we have everything that we need to fulfill God’s plan for our lives. There is nothing that we lack to fulfill it all. God loves us so much He wants us to be with Him forever. That’s why He wants to give us the power and anointing to do it in dynamic fashion here on earth.

If we have come fully loaded, so to speak, to carry out His plans, hopes, and dreams for our lives, what are we waiting for? If we have been wanting to overcome the evil of this world, we can find the answers in these verses. His promises are to build us up and make us strong in Him to take part in His divine nature here on earth and in heaven.

Partakers of His divine nature, what does that look like? It is endless favor with God. It is the ability to rise above the world’s standards. It is His power and anointing alive within us to speak, to sing, to pray, to write, to do whatever needs to be done to further His kingdom and His call on our lives.

Prayer:
Lord, have Your way in me. Through You Lord, I can do anything! I have been anointed and empowered to navigate this life, holding Your hand, and I can be used by You to do great and mighty things that bring You glory! In Your name Lord, Amen!
