Memorial Day
Romans 13:7 ESV
“Pay to all what is owed to them…respect to whom respect is owed, honor to whom honor is owed.”
Today we owe a debt of gratitude to our fallen heroes who gave their lives for this country to keep us free from tyranny and oppression. These men and women fought for our country and our lives and we honor them and esteem them as heroes, country men and women and beloved Americans.
Thank you for the sacrifice, thank you for the patriotism, thank you for your love for this great nation, that you would go, without fear, and fight for us here in America. Thank you to the families that celebrated these men and women who went to fight a war that was not their own. These families live daily with the sorrow of lost loved ones.
Thank you for all who have served and are serving this country. We are proud of you, we give you honor and praise for your service! Respect is something that has fallen from the hearts and minds of so many in America, but we as Christians give our highest respect to our nations military men and women. We are very proud of you! God bless America!
Prayer:
Lord, You died to set us free, we owe You everything and our allegiance. We celebrate You Lord! For the families and friends who lost loved ones while serving in our nation’s militarily, Lord, bring them comfort, peace and honor today and every day! We honor those who lost their lives to keep this country free. In Your name Lord, Amen!
