He Will Save His People from Their Sins

Matthew 1:20-23 ESV
“Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.  She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” 

All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet: “Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us).” The best gift this season is Jesus. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, He was and is Immanuel – God with us, God in flesh.

His mission was to show us the way to the Father once and for all time. Through the Father’s love for us, He gave us His Son. Born to live, born to teach, born to serve, and born to be the Supreme sacrifice.

Thank God for His love this morning, thank God for coming in a little baby, to lead us home!

Father, for Your great love, for Immanuel, Jesus or Savior and Redeemer, I praise, glorify, and magnify Your name this morning.
