Habakkuk 1:2, 5
“Lord, how long shall I cry for help, and you will not hear? God answered Habakkuk; “Look among the nations, and see; wonder and be astounded. For I am doing a work in your days that you would not believe if told.”
We pray and pray, and sometimes we hear nothing. Sometimes, like Habakkuk, we complain, “Lord, how long shall I cry for help, and you will not hear?” Sometimes what we are facing is desperate times, a child may be sick, our health may be failing, or troubles at home. We ask, why doesn’t he move faster? We need to remember God is working behind the scene, we just can’t see it
God moving in our lives doesn’t always happen in our time preference. But God is moving! Ask and keep asking Him for what you need. Tell Him how you feel. Trust Him with your request. Praise Him. God loves us and is moving. I can’t imagine what it takes to move beyond our nature and will.
Prayer:
Father, Your Son said, Ask and keep asking, seek and keep seeking, knock and keep knocking. So, I’m asking, seeking and knocking I desperately need You and I desperately need to hear from You!
