Hebrews 11:6 ESV
“…without faith it is impossible to please Him (God), for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that he rewards those who seek Him.”
At times in our life the Holy Spirit drew us to God and we believed. That’s a good start, that’s believing faith. Believing is good, but the Holy Spirit kept drawing us to God and we received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. That’s receiving faith.
In our walk with God we see that we become dependent on Him for everything (or we should any way). We begin to trust Him through the highs and the lows, the good times and the bad times. We see He is always there, always walking us through, always by our side and we begin to trust Him.
That is a huge step because a lot of Christians never make it that far, that is trusting faith. We know we can count on God for the basic needs and the for the things that deliver us, and for everything in life. Without faith, it is impossible to please God, and impossible for us to live a victorious life.
Prayer:
Father, I trust You with every aspect of my life. I do not blame You when bad things happen, I trust You right through the trials and troubles. I trust that You will see me through and You have my best interests at heart.
