Ecclesiastes 9:10 NKJV

“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.”

This scripture may be a bit crass but nonetheless true. We should put all our energy in doing a good job at work, doing our best for our mate or family and especially doing our best for God. Because when we die, or even as we are dying, it’s too late to plan and pursue our best work.

Prayer:
Father, if I’m honest with myself and You, I have not done my best in ALL situations. I could be a better worker, I could be a better mate, I could be a better parent, and I could be a better son or daughter of yours. I could do better in being an example, i could be a better witness, a better brother or sister. Forgive me Father, help me to do better every day that I have on this earth.
