John 14:12 ESV

“Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.”

If we believe in Jesus, if we believe that when He went back to heaven and sat at the right hand of God, then we have to believe that He has sent the Holy Spirit to empower us to do His works and even greater works.

Why is this possible? The power of the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God that lives inside of us wants to get out and do great things. Just like the apostle Peter at Pentecost, he was the one who denied Jesus at His trial, But just a month or so later preached the sermon of his life and thousands came to know Jesus, because Peter received the power that comes from the Holy Spirit of God! That same power lives within us, we just need to let it out!

Prayer : Father, use us in ways today beyond what we ever imagined. Use us to touch lives, to touch hearts, to meet the needs of those that need Jesus and His delivering power.
