James 1:25 ESV

“But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.”

James explains how believers ought to handle their study of the Word of God. We should look intently into the perfect law, the law that gives freedom. When we routinely do that and obey what we see and not just read the words on the pages, we will be blessed in what we do.
