Dueterobomy 30:15-16 ESV

“See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you…”

Moses gave this speech to the second generation of Israel about to go into the promise land. They had a choice, be like the stubborn, disobedient generation that died in the wilderness or obey God and be happy, content and prosperous. Sounds simple enough!
