Malachi 3:16-17 ESV

“Then those who feared the Lord spoke with one another. The Lord paid attention and heard them, And a book of remembrance was written before Him of those who feared the Lord and esteemed His name. They shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts,  in the day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves Him!”

This is the mercy of God: Many in Israel had turned away from God and hurled insults at Him but a group turned to Him in honor. Their names were written down in a book of remembrance. God said that they were a TREASURED POSSESSION!

In this world there are many who do not believe in God but to those who not only believe in Him but also trust Him they are his treasured possession!
