Matthew 6:13 ESV
“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”.

Jesus was teaching his disciples to pray and at this section of the prayer He was saying;

“Father don’t lead us in the ways where we will be the most vulnerable or weak but deliver or rescue us from evil or the evil one!”
