From Glory to Glory

2 Corinthians 3:18 ESV

“And we all, with unveiled face (reflecting what happened with Moses in the Old Testament), beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit”. 

Unveiled: when Moses had been in the presence of God, a veil was needed because his face reflected God’s glory so immensely that the people could not look at him. This veil that once separated us from God’s glory is removed in our lives by turning to the Lord, allowing for a direct, uninterrupted view of God’s glory. In light of this story of being in God’s presence and that glory shining in our lives. We progress from glory to glory as we stay in the presence of Jesus and we bask in the Father’s words. The more we stay in His presence and the more we take in the Words of God the more we reflect His glory. That’s what I want people to see, the glory of God in you! Continuously in this progression, we get closer to God, from glory to glory.

Prayer:

Lord, keep us in your presence, learning from You, leaning upon You, listening to You. We want to reflect Your glory and each day we want to go higher with You, from glory to glory. In Your name Lord Jesus we ask, Amen!
