Strength to Stay Secure

Psalms 18:31-33 ESV
“For who is God, but the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God?— the God who equipped me with strength and made my way blameless. He made my feet like the feet of a deer and set me secure on the heights.”

Many can may tout of their false gods, but only our God is the Lord of all, Creator of all things, the Beginning and the End of all things. Only our God can deliver, only our God can save. Only our God can strengthen and secure our steps.

David knew by experience the strength of God given to him, and also the skill to use such strength. This skill was like the skill that deer have, who can run effortlessly upon the high places.

No matter the tempest we face, no matter the storms of life that try to knock us off of our feet. Our God prepares us for such treacheries of life and we come out secure in Him, we shall not be moved or be shaken.

Prayer:
Lord God, thank You for giving me the strength I need to make it through these horrific times. Thank You for being my Rock and my Fortress, my Ever Present Help in times of trouble, and my Peace!
