I Sing Praises to Your Name O Lord

Psalms 147:1, 7 ESV
“Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting. Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; make melody to our God on the lyre!”

Everyday whether in your devotion or traveling in your car, sing a song to the Lord, He loves that! It doesn’t matter if your voice is sweet or challenging, He loves to hear the praises from your mouth.

As my father got older, he thought his voice was to rough to sing the songs of old, but if God received the pleasure I received to hear my father sing, I know my God was smiling. To me, his singing was like honey to the taste buds.

You can always hear my wife in the house sing a song of praise, to me that is awesome. Let the praises rise today by carrying a song in your heart and let it break forth from your lips. God is listening!

Prayer:
Father, thank you for protection from this physical storm that has come to our state. I sing praises to Your name O Lord, praises to Your name O Lord, for Your name is great and greatly to be praised.
