“Righteousness”
Matthew 5: 20 ESV
“For I tell you, unless your righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”

The righteousness of the Scribes and the Pharisees was self righteous, ritualistic and steeped in there own desires. True righteousness is having a relationship with God and the fruit of that relationship bringing glory and honor to Him. In turn we will see the kingdom of God.
