Proverbs 21:31 ESV
“The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord.”

All the preparation for our daily battles can be made by us, but ultimately it is God who holds the victory. We often face many challenges in our Christian walk and we typically do everything in our power to meet the challenges on our own, then when that fails we call on God.

God holds all the keys to victory and He has the strength to overcome.

We just typically want to do it our way in our time. The next time we have a battle, and we bring our inefficient equipment to fight. Why don’t we just call on the Master and Victor of the battle and see what God can do through us.

Prayer:
Father, almost every day is a battle. On my own I’m no match for the enemy. Help me to lean on You!
