Seeing What Others Can’t See
John 3:1-3 ESV
“Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.” Jesus answered him, “Truly, truly, I say to you (you all), unless one is born again (born from above) he (or she) cannot see the kingdom of God.”
Being able to see the Kingdom of God takes a change, a supernatural change. I’m not talking about the Kingdom in God where we will be one day if we have received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, and we have given our lives to Him. That will be a wonderful place, but I’m talking about the Kingdom of God on earth.
Being able to see the Kingdom of God on earth takes a spiritual process, a transformation of heart, mind, and spirit. What is this Kingdom of God on earth? It is having the spiritual knowledge that we are not of this world. We are in this world, but this world is not our home, we are just here on assignment.
We have a destiny to fulfill, things to accomplish, lives to touch. We do not get caught up in this world’s confusion, the things that bog us down, we have the ability to overcome, influence and lead people in the right direction.
We have a power inside of us that can do amazing things, most just have not figured out that they have this power. It’s not signs and wonders, it’s the ability to see into the spirit realm, we see things for what they are, and we know how to navigate this life, so it does not pull us down or knock us out of our race.
The ability to see the Kingdom of God is to see our calling, know our assignment, and know how to teach others and bring them alongside us to build up the Kingdom of God on earth.
The ability of seeing the Kingdom is to be able to see the move of God and to follow Him. This ability to see the Kingdom is to know God is in control if we give Him control of our lives. This ability to see the Kingdom of God is also the ability to see the evil and to navigate our path around those obstacles.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, open our eyes to see the possibilities, to know Your will, to hear Your voice, to follow You and not get our eyes on all that are distractions. Open our eyes Lord, we want to see You and follow You. In Your name Lord Jesus, Amen!
