Songs of Deliverance

Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them (the enemy or the people that are against us), for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”

This was God’s promise that He gave through Moses to Israel, and it still holds true today. We can be strong and courageous if we want to. God has already equipped us for strength and courage, we just have to decide to be strong and courageous through God. In essence, we need to always lean on God.

In this strength and courage, God says for us not to be terrified because of the enemy, or those who oppose us.  The best promise of all is the last part of this sentence, “for the Lord your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Today, if trouble comes, lean on Jesus. If problems raise up their ugly heads, lean on Jesus. If fear strikes, lean on Jesus. He is right there with us no matter what we are going through, or about to go through. He has seen what is ahead of us already, and He has the answers that we need for any and every situation.

Prayer:
Lord, I trust You, I lean on You, I submit my life and my will to Your will. I know that You will never leave me or forsake me. In fact, I know according to Your word, You work all things out for my good. (Romans 8:28) Thank You Lord! In the mighty name of Jesus I ask, seek, and knock, Amen!
