Job 4:8 ESV
“As I have seen, those who plow iniquity and sow trouble reap the same.”

We often go through life saying in our head that those who are mean to us or to our spouse or children, “they will reap what they sow,” and secretly we hope we will be around to see it. Leave judgment to God, more than likely we will never see the retribution of the harsh or cruel.

One thing we can do is watch our own actions and reactions. My mother used to say; “keep your own door stoop clean.” Which is to say don’t worry about others until you take care of your own actions and reactions.

Prayer:
Father, in the laws of sowing and reaping, I will reap what I sow. Help me to be faithful and true to You and be the best I can be.
