God never Changes

Numbers 23:19 ESV
“God is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?”

God doesn’t change, James 1:17 says: “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.” The sun rises and sets, it appears and disappears every day; But with God, who is light Himself, there is no darkness at all; there is no change with Him.

God is unchangeable in His nature, perfections, purposes, promises, and gifts. He, being Holy, cannot turn to that which is evil. Since every good and perfect gift comes from Him, evil cannot proceed from Him.

The Bible is clear that God does not change His mind, His will, or His nature. According to Isaiah 40:28 God will never grow tired or weary. That’s good news for us, because humans can wear almost anyone out, thank God He sticks with us!

Father, thank you that I can always count on You, always trust You, always know You are there for me.
