Never Fear A Day

Deuteronomy 32:6 NIV
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Sometimes we hate Mondays. We have to get up, go to work, drive in traffic with horrible drivers. Go to a job that we may or may not like, but it is taking us away from “me time.”

For some, it means that we have chores to do, a house to clean, yards to take care of, bills to pay. For others like moms with kids, they get their kids off to school and they get the house to accomplish some goals and get things done.

Mondays are not all bad, but never fear a day. Instead, say, “This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.” (Pslams 118:24). No matter what the day, there is time to rejoice in it. Never fear a day, there can be found a reason to be glad even on a Monday.

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified in today, God has always got a perfect will for today. God is in this day just like we are. The best news of all, “He will never leave you nor forsake you.” That’s good news for a Monday!

Prayer:
Lord. This is a day that You have made specifically. It is not just a random day, not just another day, this is a day of design and purpose. Open our eye to see through Your eyes this Monday morning. In Jesus name, Amen!
