2 Titus 2: 11-14 ESV

“For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people,  training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age…”

It’s hard to live this life on our own stumbling and falling, living ungodly lives, but thanks be to God for salvation through His Son has provided grace to make us acceptable in His eyes. Through His salvation we are trained to live godly and upright lives, rejecting the sinful passions of this world.
