Heal Our Nation

2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV
“If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

I know I have used this passage before, but if ever our country needs healing, it is now. I don’t think I have to remind anyone, of all the great nations in the Bible, America is not in any of the prophecies. Israel is a major concern of Biblical prophecy and the nations that are enemies to Israel are all mentioned but America is not.

This scripture is directed at a nation that will turn as a whole to God. I’m not sure everyone in our nation will turn to God before the coming of the Christ. So, the Christians will have to be the sovereign nation, of God’s Kingdom, inside our nation that will follow this pattern given by God.

If we will humble (not being proud or arrogant) ourselves and pray, (communicate with God where we talk and He listens and He talks and we listen). Seek God’s face (what is His perfect will), and turn from following our own desires, then we will hear from heaven and God will forgive our sins and heal our lands.

Prayer:
God save America for the sake of those that follow hard after You! Cleans America for our sake, heal us and heal this great nation. In Your name Lord Jesus we ask, Amen
