Commit Your Plans to the Lord

Psalms 16:1-3 ESV
“The plans of the heart belong to man, but the answer of the tongue is from the Lord.  All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit. Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.”

These three verses have to stay together, it is an order that needs to be heeded. The things we do, the words we speak, we may think they are innocent, righteous, and good, but God will be the righteous judge on that matter. If we commit everything we say, do, and think to the Lord, He will fix what is off and make us look good in the process.

We can make plans, but God has already seen our future, let’s trust Him. We may think what we say is golden, but checking our spirit with the Spirit of God will set things right. Give everything to God and the profit of mind, soul, spirit, and body will be pure and healthy.

Prayer:
Father God, I do not know what today holds, but You do. Anoint my heart and my lips will speak healing. Anoint my way today and I will have good success. In Your name Father God, Amen!
