Having Faith Brings Rewards

Hebrews 11:6 ESV
“And without faith it is impossible to please Him (God) for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.”

Having faith in God is step one on the ladder to success in life and in Spiritual matters. We first have to believe God is who He says He is.

We have to believe that God will do all that He promised, and we have to believe that God is looking out for us personally, not just collectively with everyone else. God is a personal God, and He desires a personal relationship with each and every one of us.

When we believe and trust God, we believe that He has our life and needs at heart. That He is thinking of us, listening to us, and that He knows exactly what we need, even if we do not know what we need ourselves.

So, for the rewards. The writer says that God rewards those who seek after God. We have faith to believe God, and we seek after God and God rewards us. My rewards are not necessarily your rewards, and your rewards are not necessarily my rewards, God sees us individually and rewards us according to what we need.

Prayer:
Lord God, I believe in You, and I trust You explicitly. I seek to know You more and I set my face to seek after You. I’m not doing this for the rewards, but I know how You are, You are a gracious, loving God and You love to bless us. Thank You in advance Father, In Your name Lord God, Amen!
