Dueteronomy 2:1-3 ESV
“Then we turned and journeyed into the wilderness in the direction of the Red Sea, as the Lord told me. And for many days we traveled around Mount Seir. Then the Lord said to me, ‘You have been traveling around this mountain country long enough…”
Sometimes in our disobedience, God will take us on a journey until we finally, finally see His plan. Sometimes it takes a life time, sometimes it takes 40 years, sometimes it’s but a moment.
They day we see God in all His glory, the day we decide to follow His plan, is the day He comes to us and says, “Ok, you have walked around this mountain long enough, Or you have done things your own way long enough, turn to the direction I will show you!”
It’s that day that He fulfills His plan in us and blesses us beyond our wildest dreams. It’s that day the past is truly the past and the future is limitless. How long will you walk around the same old mountain expecting to see something different?
Prayer:
Father, I have been through the wilderness. I’ve seen the same thing week after week, month after month. It’s time to fulfill your way, I’ve walked my own way, now I want to walk in your path, in your blessings.
