Isaiah 41:10,13 ESV
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand…”
“Fear not, I am the one who helps you.” There is nothing like the feeling of being helplessness or hopelessness, it’s debilitating, and crushing. On our own we can get through possibly, but with someone by our side, they can at least lift us up.
With God in our life, anything is possible. Instead of trying to figure out how we can make it on our own, instead of getting by and temporary solutions, why not ask the one who is ready, willing and more than capable to get us through the tough times.
He is saying to us, “I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand…” When we lack the strength to lift up our head, or put one foot in front of the other, call on God, He said, “I am the one who helps you.”
Prayer:
Father, even in my darkest hours, You are there with me. I don’t have to see You, or hear You, I just know you are there and I gladly lean on You.”
