Be Still

Psalms 46:10 ESV
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”

In the world in which we live, we are bombarded with thoughts, decisions and crisis. Even if we are sitting still, our minds are going a hundred miles an hour.

In the scripture today, God is actually saying, “be at ease, stop worrying, trust Me, know who I Am and know the power that I have to keep you safe and secure. Nothing will happen to you that I will not know it, long before you experience it.”

Today, put away worry, put away fear and fretting. Know that He is the Almighty, all powerful God, and He can and will silent our fears if we let Him.

Prayer:
Lord, first still our minds. Help us to remember that You are bigger than any mountain we face. Just to know You are watching and that You care brings immense comfort. In Your name Lord, Amen!
