Judges 7:2 ESV
“The Lord said to Gideon, ‘

‘“The people with you are too many for me to give the Midianites into their hand,  lest Israel boast over me, saying, ‘My own hand has saved me.'”

God is the God who makes the impossible, possible! The Midianites were raiding, stealing and making the Israelites miserable. God sent an angel to Gideon to tell him that he was going to save Israel and stop the Midianites from their tyranny once and for all, although Israel was in this predicament because of their sins against God,

God was going to show Israel His mercy and grace. IIsrael put together 32,000 men ready to fight, but God told Gideon there were too many soldiers. God knew that if they defeated the enemy with 32,000 me Israel would take the credit and forget about God again. So Gideon sent 22,000 people home. God said that there was still too many men. So Gidein sent 9,700 home which left him with 300 fighting men against the Midianite army, of what some to believe were, from 50,000-75,000.

When Gideon did exactly what God commanded him and his 300 men, all the Midianites were so afraid they killed each other out of fear. The 300 men with Gideon did not even fight it the battle that destroyed the entire Midianite army. As I said, God is the God who makes the impossible, possible! If we will obey God, God will deliver us in the things that we count impossible.

Prayer:
Father, I have seen the impossible and by faith in You, I’m asking for your to make the impossible, possible in my life.
