Revelation Knowledge
Matthew 11:27 NIV
“All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”
The value of a relationship with Jesus Christ is priceless. Jesus said that no one knows the Father except Himself, or to anyone that He reveals the Father too.
How do we obtain such knowledge of the Most High God? A relationship! To know Jesus in depth is to have a personal relationship with Him. I’m not speaking of salvation, because salvation is us turning toward Jesus.
Salvation alone does not obtain the grand knowledge of knowing Jesus in a personal way. Salvation was paid for by Jesus, it was redemption, which is buying back our souls, or lives. Jesus made the way for us to get back to Him, debt free.
We know Jesus as Lord and Savior, but how do we transform our lives into a personal relationship with Jesus and then on to having a personal relationship with God? Romans 12:1-2 explains that.
Every day, “…offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” (Romans 12:1b-2 NIV)
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, remove the dross, everything that has no value to our relationship with You from our lives and from our minds. Revive us, refresh us, make us brand new and draw us to You every day! We want this personal, close, informative, relationship with You. We ask this in the authority of Your name, Amen!
