The Path God Chooses

Psalms 37:23 AMP
“The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the Lord, And He delights in his way [and blesses his path].”

God does have a perfect path laid out for us, but we often make the mistake of choosing our own way and then we want God to bless our way. It doesn’t work that way. We have to consciously and spiritually seek God’s way and then we will know our way will be blessed.

The other day, I realized I had made a decision about something without consulting the Lord. I quickly told God that I was sorry, that I did not consult Him first, and then asked what I should do about my choice. Well, I got the answer I needed and put in my memory bank to seek God first and all the things that I need will be supplied to me.

Today, God has a path for each of us to follow, we may not even be going anywhere today but we still have a mandate set for us to follow. Seek God first thing, follow His direction, seek His word, get His direction and proceed knowing that God is with you every step of the way in whatever you will be doing today.

Prayer:
Lord, lead us in the way we should go today. Help us to hear your voice, even if it is just a whisper, I pray that it is the loudest voice that we will hear deep down in our spirit today. In Your righteous name, Amen!
