God Will Never Leave Us Exasperated

Genesis 39:1-4 ESV
“Now Joseph had been brought down to Egypt, and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, the captain of the guard, an Egyptian,  had bought him from the Ishmaelites who had brought him down there.  The Lord was with Joseph, and he became a successful man, and he was in the house of his Egyptian master.  His master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord caused all that he did to succeed in his hands.  So Joseph found favor in his sight and attended him, and he made him overseer of his house and put him in charge of all that he had.”

Joseph is on a thirteen year spiral downward until God is going to do some really amazing things in his life. This portion of his 13 year downward spiral is how God works even in bad situations to create moments of blessings and peace. Most people will only look at the big picture here, that Joseph was displaced, away from his family, forgotten, basically alone. and they will think bad things keep happening to Joseph and never any good in those 13 years.

Joseph never gave up on God, never gave up on his dreams, and God kept giving Joseph baby steps into the right direction. It took some time to create the perfect situation that Joseph would be in the right place that only God could get all the glory. But along the way, Joseph found favor with God and men, that were not his friends, just people along his journey

Prayer:
Father, some days it seems like nothing is going to go right. Sometimes it seems like troubles will not end but they will and You send me blessings along my way. I put my hope and trust in You!
