Cry Out to the Lord

Joel 1:14 ESV
“Consecrate a fast; call a solemn assembly. Gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land to the house of the Lord Your God, and cry out to the Lord.”

I think as a whole we as the Bride of Christ or the Body of Christ have missed the mark of who we are supposed to be concerning the Bride that Jesus is coming for, we have a lot more to do. As individuals I’m sure we are doing everything that we can to get closer to God, and if we are, that is commendable.

I really thought we would be further along than we are now, stronger, closer, more alive, furthering the gospel better, both here and over seas. So, what do we do to get back on track? Like God told Joel in Joel 1:3, “Gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land to the house of the Lord Your God, and cry out to the Lord.” Repentance is the best beginning to getting back to where we belong!

God break my heart for what breaks Yours! Give me eyes to see, ears to hear, and a voice to proclaim what You give me!
