His Glory, Our Pleasure

Psalms 8:1,3-4 ESV
“O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens. When I look at Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have set in place, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You care for him?”

God’s creation is nothing short of amazing. Even though mankind has abused this world, God’s creation, beyond human touch, is glories. When we see all that God has set in place, the beauty of His handiwork and even things that we cannot see like gravity, oxygen, the wind, we should be amazed.

But what is God’s prized creation? You and me, mankind, those who have a soul and spirit, we are His most prized creation. Genesis 1:27 says, “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.”

Psalms 139:13-16
“For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.”

God takes extreme pride in you and me and He has done everything possible to bring us back in right relationship with Himself.

Prayer:
Father, Thank You for Your great love for us, I am so amazed that we are Your most prized creation and that You have set in motion our lives and You have shown us the way we should go. Help us to find Your way, In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen!
