Jesus Living Through Us

Galatians 2:20 ESV

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

We just celebrated Resurrection Sunday a couple of weeks ago. The idea that we died with Jesus comes with the blessing that now we are alive through Jesus. When we came to know Him as Lord and we asked for forgiveness of our sins and asked Him to come into our hearts and lives, we essentially died with Him on the cross. Then we were resurrected and made alive through Jesus in His resurrection.

The life that we now live, we live by faith and trust that He lives in us and through us. That means our actions and reactions should reflect His glory and bring Him glory and honor.

Prayer:

Lord, we live in and through You, and You live in and through us, essentially, we are one. Therefore, let Your light shine through us that others will see Your good works in us. In Your name Lord Jesus we ask, Amen!
