Real Living is Having Jesus

2 Corinthians 4:16 MSG
“So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace.”

Sometimes it seems like life closes in on us and mental exhaustion can be as draining as physical exhaustion. But, if we reach out to God and continually feed our minds and spirits on His word and from His Spirit we are strengthened, encouraged, built up, made more than overcomers.

Choosing not to strengthen ourselves in the Lord is a serious laps of judgement. The world is full of violence, destruction, dissension and disinformation and to walk in the world without being built up in the Lord just makes life harder than it has to be.

Today before you step out into the world of destruction, seek God, read a good verse or two or three and put on the full armor of God. Even though outwardly it seems like a hopeless world, having Jesus in our hearts and lives gives us hope and peace, so much so that we can find strength and encouragement even when things seem in turmoil.

Prayer:
Lord, outwardly life is tough, but in my heart, mind and spirit, I have peace, joy and contentment in You! Thank You!
