Judges 17:6 ESV

“In those days there was no king in Israel. Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.”

We have come to the place in America where those who do not follow after God, and the Bible, think they are as the ancient philosophers in Greece. They say whatever comes to their minds whether it is right or not, they are only right in their own eyes. Morals and standards taught in schools in the 50s and 60s are no longer taught. Now students can believe whatever comes to their mind’s because the social norms say if you believe it is right, then it is right.

We go by the Bible! We have a King, His name is Jesus and we believe what God says is right and accurate and that is what we proclaim. To think freely apart from God’s Holy Spirit puts us in contempt and we will be subject to judgment. To “be renewed in the Spirit of our minds” daily (Romans 12:2) is to read, eat and drink in God’s word and know the truth.

Prayer:
Father I am not of this world, and I hope and pray I do not act, think or speak like this world. Help me to proclaim what is right and the truth, Your word is truth.
