Memorial Day

Romans 8:38-39

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

We have lost well over a million soldiers in all wars since the civil war. Today we stand in honor of those men and women who gave their lives to keep our country safe. Our country is in great peril, not just overseas anymore, now we are in great peril on our own homeland.

All those who have fought and died, died to make this country the great country it has been. How many more will have to die to bring it back to its former glory?

We honor today our heroes of war who gave up their lives for us. As this scripture says, nothing can separate us from God’s love for us and the love that He has for our fallen heroes.

Thank you families that supported America by allowing your sons, daughter, husbands and wives and friends to fight for our rights and freedom!

Prayer:
Lord, I pray that the lives of these fallen soldiers and what they did for this country will never be forgotten. I pray for strength for the families, the fathers and mothers, the husbands, wives, and the children and grandchildren and friends that allowed their loved ones to pay the ultimate sacrifice for this country. God save America, help us to preserve what You gave us so long ago, Amen!
