The Righteousness of God

2 Corinthians 5;21 NIV
“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

There are a few things that I want to point out about this scripture:

1. The amazing love of God, and the lengths that He would go to, to be in a right, and close relationship with each and every one of us.

2. God, through His Son, came down to earth to be the supreme sacrifice that would wipe out all of our sins forever, once and for all!

3. God did this just so that we would be made righteous through His Son.

4. That would open the door for our relationship with God to be what He has always wanted with you and me, a right, and on-going relationship with a Holy God.

5. We were made acceptable to Him and placed in a right relationship with Him by His loving kindness. What an amazing God we serve!

Prayer:
Father God, thank You for Your lovingkindness. Thank You for pursuing us, even when we did not feel loved or lovable. Thank You that You sought us out individually, to bring us back to You, Amen!
