Seeking Your Healing

Luke 8:43-47 NLT
“A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding (hemorrhaging),  and she could find no cure. Coming up behind Jesus, she touched the fringe of his robe. Immediately, the bleeding stopped. “Who touched Me?” Jesus asked… “Someone deliberately (consciously and intentionally) touched Me, for I felt healing power go out from Me.” When the woman realized that she could not stay hidden, she began to tremble and fell to her knees in front of Him. The whole crowd heard her explain why she had touched him and that she had been immediately healed…”

Amazing, this woman had a desperate need, she was suffering for so long, the doctors were useless in a cure, but she knew at least one person who had the answer for this affliction of her body, His name was Jesus.

You know we do the right things, hopefully, we eat right, go to the doctors, try to live right but things still happen. Most of my aches and pains come from my own abuse of my body through work and I can still ask for healing. Hopefully I can get smarter, but sometimes things happen in a fallen world and we get sick or contract a disease.

So, what do we do as Christians? We ask the Master for healing. I guess you could say, “when this lady had exhausted all of her time, patience and resources, then as a last resort she went to the Master.” We can go to the Master first. We have full access to ask for healing for ourselves anytime we want.

Lord sometimes we feel like someone else can pray better than we can, but honestly, You told ME to ask and I would receive. Thank You for the reminder!!!
