“Choose Who You Will Serve”
Joshua 25:15 ESV
“…choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
It easy to say we believe in the Lord, not so easy to say we serve the Lord. Jesus, at the last supper with the disciples, saved the greatest lesson for the last lesson; He said He came to serve. Should we do any less than the Lord? Serving is more than just reading our Bible, praying and going to church, those things should be automatic and repetitive. Serving is going the extra mile, giving beyond just duty, reaching out to the lost, the dying, the hurting, all the things the Lord told us to do.
