It Is Good for Me to be Near to God

Psalms 78:28 NLT
“But as for me, how good it is to be near God! I have made the Sovereign Lord my shelter, and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do.”

We all have different ways we feel the closest to God. I have several ways; a good worship song and I sense Him right in front of me. In a good study of scriptures is another way I sense Him near. When I need to be encouraged, He never fails to be exactly what I need.

So, because of those times and because when the storms of life hit He never fails to deliver. I have made Him my shelter and my stronghold. Because of His power, anointing, and His presence I will tell as many as will listen that God is my Deliverer and Father. He will also be our everything if we will rely completely on Him.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your presence. Thank you for the times when I really sense Your presence, even stronger than other times, even though I know You are always there by my side and in me. Never let my words fall silent from telling of Your marvelous love.
