Remember the Miracles
Deuteronomy 31:6b-7 ESV
“…Is not He your father, who created you, who made you and established you Remember the days of old; consider the years of many generations; ask your father, and he will show you, your elders, and they will tell you.”
Remembering when God did miraculous things in our lives should be something that we express to those who will listen. No, we don’t want to dwell in the past any more than we should live in the past, but reminding the next generation of the goodness of God is our responsibility and should be our joy.
Miracles are not a thing of the past they happen every day. This generation doesn’t believe much in miracles, mostly because the world teaches them that science and medicine fixes everything. According to this world, money makes things happen, people make things happen, they have no patience to wait on God and allow Him to show Himself all powerful.
This world would rather believe in themselves and the next generation is falling for it hook line and sinker. So why are we concerned about miracles? Because we serve a God of the impossible. We serve a God that all things are possible and we cannot create those things on our own. God wants to show you and I His wonders, miracles and that He can make a way where there is no way! That’s the God I serve!
Prayer:
Father, I’ve seen more miracles than most people even dream about. I will wait on You and watch Your mighty hand create miracles and I will proclaim Your name, the God of miracles.
